 Current Day Hicksford Railroad bridge. This bridge crosses the Meherrin River in Emporia, VA N36 41 20.0 W77 32 22.8. There is a Veterans Park and a town park near the bridge.
 This town Park is located on the north side of the Meherrin River next to the Hicksford Railraod Bridge-N36 41 26.3 W77 32 26.9.

Hicksford railraod bridge located in Emporia-N36 41 20.0 W77 32 22.8.
 This marker is found on Rt. 301 at the Nottoway River crossing. Interstate 95 bridge is beside the 301 bridge N36 53 55.5 W77 24 02.0.
 This large White Oak is located on Great Creek near Price Mill. There are many spectacular trees found in these river and creek bottoms. The incredible scenes of nature found along these trails is worth following the Civil War trail even if the traveler has no interest in the history.
 This is a picture of the North Carolina monument that it located at the Reams Battlefield. The GPS coordinates are N37 05 38.8 W77 25 21.5.
